Who We Are
The Greater China Hong Kong Business Association of Washington (HKBAW) is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit organization established in 1994 by community leaders with strong ties to Hong Kong.
Our mission is to foster business connections, cultural exchange, and professional development for individuals and organizations engaged with Hong Kong, Greater China, and the Pacific Northwest.
As the Northwest Chapter of the Federation of Hong Kong Business Associations Worldwide, HKBAW is part of a global network of more than 40 associations across 30+ countries, representing over 11,000 members. In 2007, HKBAW became a founding member of the National U.S. Hong Kong Business Association, further strengthening our role in connecting U.S. businesses with opportunities in Hong Kong and Greater China. This affiliation provides our members access to international business insights, networking opportunities, and collaborative programs.
Our membership spans diverse industries and career stages, from senior executives to emerging professionals and students, reflecting the broad and dynamic nature of Hong Kong’s global business community. HKBAW also serves Washington, Oregon, and Idaho, promoting cross-border relationships and cultural understanding throughout the region.
